Why I Photograph

I love nature, and often stop in my tracks when I'm moved by the beauty I see.  I am blessed to spend time in nature frequently, but also know that it is difficult for many.  So that everyone can experience nature, I share nature’s beauty through my nature and landscape fine art photography.

I've trained myself to find beauty in both the obvious and the subtle, and compose my nature images whenever something moves me. Thus in my gallery you will find grand landscape fine art prints of amazing vistas, but also nature prints highlighting the play of light on an intimate scene, or a fine art image of a forest glade through the morning fog.  These nature images bring peace and balance into my life, whether witnessing it in person or immersing myself in a glorious fine art nature print.

During my years of stress and pressure as a college vice president, I kept balanced by escaping into treasured nature photographs throughout the day.  Thus the second part of my mission is to help you and your loved ones revel in nature’s beauty in the home or office through my landscape and nature fine art photography.
